Studio Janréji designed the Carton Rouge restaurant and wine bar in Paris
Red is the color of the wine, and the color of the restaurant: bespoke benches, customised Thonet armchair, red Gras lamps, in a neo industrial mood, half brutalism, half traditional french restaurant codes.
In the bassement, the atmosphere feels more British, with a chesterfield touch, dark wall colours and deep velvet curtains.
